Ignacio Garcia presents “It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing”, an installation in the art space Super bien! The title of the installation comes from Shakespeare's Macbeth and discloses this exhibition's motivation.
In the greenhouse, there is a wooden structure resembling an advertisement on the side of a hill, with the words, “signifying nothing”. At the foot of the structure are a few small trees, which amongst other things, reference the scale we use to experience the work. From time to time, the space is overwhelmed by a colonizing fog and hum.
Ignacio Garcia studied sculpture at the University of Vigo (Spain) and in recent years has expanded his practice into photographic works. His approach to photography is sculpturesque and are spatial reflections. With this exhibition, he returns to the object itself, with melancholy.

Ignacio García presenta una instalación en el espacio Super bien! Bajo el titulo "It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." Es una un fragmento de la obra Macbeth de Shakespeare y que ha sido el motor de esta exposición.
En el invernadero podemos ver unas letras sobre una estructura de madera con las palabras signifying nothing. Esta estructura se semeja a la de un publicidad en la ladera de una colina. A los pies de esta estructura un manto verde salpicado de algunos pequeños arboles que nos sirven, entre otras cosas, para saber la escala que tendremos que usar para mirar la obra. Este pequeño escenario dentro del invernadero es sobrecogido cada cierto tiempo con una niebla artificial, mientras un leve zumbido coloniza también el espacio.
Ignacio García se especializó en escultura en la Universidad de Vigo (España) aunque en los últimos años se le ha podido ver sobre todo trabajar con la fotografía. Sin embargo su acercamiento a la fotografía es, si se puede decir, escultórica, ya que sus reflexiones son siempre espaciales. Con esta exposición retoma el objeto, y con el objeto cierta mirada melancólica.
